After reading some of the posts about the server, i wanted an opinion on whether or not there's a good chance it'll be back. To be brief if it is I'll patch down... I don't want to go through the proccess just to not be able to join is all.

What did you do for the server to help it?
And yes, it is coming back, but we are not gonna rush it this time.

If by helping you mean Donating, than I didn't help.
If by helping you mean finding solutions for the problems of people i.e Hack Patch, Updating problems etc. Than I Did Help.

Re: Question...
As I try to prepare for getting on when the server is back up, I'm unsure whether or not I have successfully done some of the steps. in this case, here's what im unsure of. After clicking uninstall and then resuming to immediately install it, (I also made sure it didn't auto patch anything) I clicked the WoW.exe in the newly created WoW folder and when WoW came up it was the WOTLK background... to know for sure something was wrong.. i see "3.0.1 release" at the bottom left corner...I'm sure this isnt right but let me know otherwise... but assuming i did mess up
*possible reasons*
--installing through the online WoW site since i have a retail account i decided to DL from here since i cant find my first disc to follow through with original connection guide
--uninstalling via the installer instead of going to control panel and removing in their
I personally think it's becauser i downloaded through WoW's site but... let me know what you think.. it doesnt matter what it is.

Re: Question...
could another potential problem be that I think my files are formated for EnUS playing instead of eu/uk...at this point I'm just trying to figure out the problem exactly... i'll worry about fixing it after that.
